Thermage Eyes

Eyes by Thermage is a procedure that firms, smoothes, and tightens skin. This procedure decreases wrinkles in the area around the eyes. Eyes by Thermage, which was approved by the FDA in 2001, is not a surgical procedure and it involves little to no downtime. The Thermage procedure, instead, uses infrared rays to heat the dermis layer of the skin, increasing collagen and firming the skin.
The result of Eyes by Thermage is a more youthful looking appearance with more eye firmness and reduces wrinkles and hooding. Your eyelids will appear smoother as well, making makeup application easier.

Eyes by Thermage takes about an hour and can usually be done in one procedure. Some doctors prefer to do it in several less intense sessions as opposed to one session. The cost is usually around $2,000 and results can last for up to two years. The results will be tighter skin all around the eye area, a tightened brow that reveals more refreshed eyes, less bagging under the eye, and a reduction of wrinkles and crow’s feet.

The procedure is not very painful and side effects are generally pretty mild. There are risks with any procedure and some Eyes by Thermage patients have reported redness, dimpling, and scarring, though these side effects are quite rare. After undergoing Eyes by Thermage, patients are able to resume their normal routines almost immediately.
